After leaving briefly in the second quarter with an ankle injury, the reigning MVP finished with 46 points while making 12 of 16 3s – surpassing his record of 286 from a year ago with 24 games still left on the schedule. Curry has averaged 46.3 points while making 65.1 percent of his 3s the last three games.

Lowry capped a career night by hitting the clinching basket in the closing seconds to help the Raptors beat the Eastern Conference-leading Cavaliers 99-97 Friday night. Lowry finished with a career-best 43 points, the last two of which came on a 23-foot jumper with four seconds remaining for his first game-winning shot since his time at Villanova. The guard was 15 of 20 from the floor and is averaging 25.1 points on 52.5 percent in his last nine games.

Curry scored 51 points with eight assists and seven rebounds in the Warriors’ 130-114 win at Orlando on Thursday. The reigning MVP connected on 20 of 27 from the floor and 10 of 15 from 3-point range, while topping 50 points for the third time this season. He’s the first player to do that since LeBron James and Dwyane Wade in 2008-09. Curry also set an NBA record by making a 3 in 128 consecutive games.

Cousins capped a 39-point night by hitting the go-ahead free throws with 48.3 seconds left to help the Kings beat the Nuggets 114-110 on Tuesday night. In his previous game, Cousins scored 37 points and grabbed 20 rebounds in a 116-110 win over Denver on Friday. Cousins, who is averaging a career-best 27.3 points per game, has 53 career 30-point games, including four in his last seven.

On a night when retiring Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant was celebrated during his final stop in Milwaukee, Giannis Antetokounmpo stole the show by posting his first career triple-double (27 points, 12 boards and 10 assists) in the Bucks’ 108-101 win. Standing 6-foot-11, the “Greek Freak” also had four blocks and three steals while shooting 12 of 17 from the field. The 21-year-old Antetokounmpo has been playing well for a while, averaging 19.2 points over his last nine games.

Anthony Davis turned in the NBA’s top performance this season with 59 points and 20 rebounds to lift the Pelicans to a 111-106 win at Detroit. The 6-foot-10 All-Star made 24 of 34 shots to surpass Jamal Mashburn’s franchise record of 50 points, set exactly 13 years earlier against Memphis. Davis also topped LeBron James’ record of 48 at the Palace of Auburn Hills, and he joined Shaquille O’Neal and Chris Webber as the only NBA players to finish with 50 points and 20 rebounds since 1983.
