All-Star Set Deadline Approaching

Time is running out on the NBA All-Star packs.  You still have a few more days to finish your sets! You can head to the store and try packs or try browsing the Trade Pool to see if anyone has one you need.

Collectors that complete the 68 card NBA All-Star set by Feb 28 (noon CST) will be receiving a special All-Star Game Reward set which includes the following:

• Klay Thompson – 3 Point Contest Winner
• Zach LaVine – Slam Dunk Contest Winner
• Karl-Anthony Towns – Skills Challenge Winner
• Russell Westbrook – All-Star Game MVP

Player of the Day

Stephen Curry

Curry hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with 38 seconds left and made two free throws with 18.5 seconds remaining to give him 42 points in Golden State’s 118-112 win over Miami on Wednesday. Curry, who is averaging 33.8 points in eight games this month and has scored at least 40 nine times this season, added seven rebounds and seven assists. He also tied Kyle Korver’s NBA record of hitting at least one 3-pointer in 127 straight games by going 6 of 12 from long range.

DeMarcus Cousins

Cousins capped a 39-point night by hitting the go-ahead free throws with 48.3 seconds left to help the Kings beat the Nuggets 114-110 on Tuesday night. In his previous game, Cousins scored 37 points and grabbed 20 rebounds in a 116-110 win over Denver on Friday. Cousins, who is averaging a career-best 27.3 points per game, has 53 career 30-point games, including four in his last seven.

PLAYER OF THE DAY – Anthony Davis

Anthony Davis turned in the NBA’s top performance this season with 59 points and 20 rebounds to lift the Pelicans to a 111-106 win at Detroit. The 6-foot-10 All-Star made 24 of 34 shots to surpass Jamal Mashburn’s franchise record of 50 points, set exactly 13 years earlier against Memphis. Davis also topped LeBron James’ record of 48 at the Palace of Auburn Hills, and he joined Shaquille O’Neal and Chris Webber as the only NBA players to finish with 50 points and 20 rebounds since 1983.

New All-Star Game inserts available!

44 brand new NBA All-Star cards are now available in All-Star packs in the Dunk store.  The new cards include updated photography from the All-Star weekend and includes: 24 cards from the All-Star Game, 8 cards from the 3-Point Contest, 4 cards from the Slam Dunk Contest and 8 cards from the Skills Challenge.

By collecting the entire 68-card NBA All-Star set by Feb. 28 (noon CST), collectors will be awarded a special 6-card Reward set which includes the following cards:

• Zach LaVine – Slam Dunk Contest Winner
• Karl-Anthony Towns – Skills Challenge Winner
