Muhammad had a career-high 35 points with six rebounds in the Timberwolves’ stunning 124-117 overtime win at NBA-leading Golden State on Tuesday. The reserve forward connected on 9 of 12 from the floor while sinking 15 of 17 free throws to prevent the Warriors’ from win No. 70. Muhammad’s effort dealt a severe blow to Golden State’s chances of breaking Chicago’s single-season record of 72-10 from 1995-96.
