Lillard’s 50 points went to waste in Friday’s 117-115 loss in Toronto as the guard fell a point shy of a career high set last month in a 137-105 win over the Warriors. Lillard, who was 16 of 28 from the field and is averaging 33.3 points in his last 11 games, became the first Trail Blazer with three 40-point games in a season since Brandon Roy in 2009-10 and the second player in franchise history to reach 50 twice in a career after Geoff Petrie.
